PANTHERS TO HOST OPENING NIGHT WATCH PARTY ON OCT. 4
Panthers-Rangers to be Aired Live at Original Steakhouse in Coral Springs

SUNRISE, Fla. – The Florida Panthers announced today that they will host an opening night watch party on Thursday, Oct. 4 at the Original Steakhouse & Sports Theatre in Coral Springs (1000 N. University Dr.), when the Panthers take on the NY Rangers at Madison Square Garden. The party starts at 6 p.m., with the game being aired live on the restaurant’s big screen televisions at 7 p.m.

“This party is another example of one of the numerous fan friendly initiatives that we have developed to support our team during our opening week of the season,” said Sr. VP of Sales & Marketing Chad Johnson. “This viewing party provides for a great opportunity for our fans to come together and cheer on the Panthers, before they pack the BankAtlantic Center for the team’s home opener against New Jersey on Oct. 6.”

At the party fans will have a chance to meet the Panthers Ice Dancers presented by Sziro Jewelry and Stanley C. Panther. In addition, fans will have the opportunity to play interactive games and enter into raffles to win great Panthers prizes, while enjoying Bud and Bud Light drink specials.

The Panthers organization is also encouraging the South Florida community to wear their Panthers colors all week long prior to the home opener on Saturday, Oct. 6.  In support of this initiative, Tuesday, Oct. 2 has been designated Cats in Classroom Spirit Day in all Broward County Schools. The school that demonstrates the most Panthers spirit will win a $500 grant and a visit from a Panthers player, as well as Stanley C. Panther.
