SUNRISE, Fla. – Florida Panthers General Manager and Head Coach Jacques Martin announced today that the club has assigned D Martin Lojek and C Stefan Meyer to Rochester (AHL).
Lojek, 22, appeared in two preseason games for Florida with an even rating. Meyer, 22, appeared in three preseason games with the Panthers recording a plus-1 rating.
Florida is currently 4-2 this preseason and will finish their exhibition schedule Friday night at Phillips Arena in Atlanta. The Cats will then spend three days training in West Point, NY before opening up the 2007-08 season on Thursday, Oct. 4 against the New York Rangers in Madison Square Garden. Florida will have its home opener on Saturday, Oct. 6 against the New Jersey Devils at 7:00 p.m. |
