The Miami Toros today hired Ryan Coslov as head coach. Commented G.M Joe Timpone, “Coach Coslov brings with him experience at the college level, this will help in motivating and developing our players for that level”.
Coslov played at Robert Morris College and later moved behind the bench at his alma mater as an Assistant Coach. Originally from Pittsburgh, Pa. Coslov has also coached at the High School level. He will be assisted by former Miami Manatee professional player Mark Scally.
The Toros will open training camp at Kendall Ice Arena on August 10th, for the 2007-2008 season. The camp will put 30 skaters and 6 goalies through rigorous drills on ice and off. With a newly appointed coaching staff giving all attendee’s a fair opportunity to make the final roster. 22 skaters and three goalies will make the cut.
