OVERTIME GOAL GIVES WOLVES FOUR-GAME SWEEP

MILWAUKEE, Wis.---Glenview native Brian Fahey scored at the 11:55 mark of overtime to give the Chicago Wolves a 3-2 victory over the Milwaukee Admirals and solidify a four-game sweep of the West Division Semifinal at the Bradley Center on Wednesday night. The sweep was the Wolves' sixth all time in 12 years of postseason action.

The Wolves will now face either the Iowa Stars or Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights in the West Division Final; the Stars currently lead that series 3-games-to-1.

"I didn't have to do much," Fahey said.  "The guys worked the puck down low and set me up with a perfect pass.  We'll enjoy this tonight, rest a day, then get right back to work."

Chicago netminder Michael Garnett (4-0) registered 28 saves on 30 shots in regulation and overtime to improve his career Calder Cup Playoff record to a perfect 6-0.

The Wolves (4-0) got on the board first for the fourth consecutive game when Admirals netminder Pekka Rinne skated out of the net to play the puck but got caught by Chicago defenseman Trevor Byrne as he flew out of the penalty box.  Byrne knocked the puck away and center Brad Schell streaked in and collected it before calmly passing to left wing Colin Stuart, who fired the puck into the empty net at 8:28, for his first career Calder Cup Playoff goal.

Rinne (0-4) notched 34 saves in the loss.

Milwaukee (0-4) caught up at 1-1 when defenseman Kevin Klein, camping out to the left of the goal mouth, tipped a shot between Garnett's legs at 14:03 of the first period.  Klein's tally was the first marker the Admirals have put on the board in a stanza other than the third period this series.

The Admirals took their first lead of the four-game series, 2-1, when right wing Brandon Segal rocketed a shot far-side that bested Garnett at 9:26 of the second period.

Chicago battled back to tie things up at two apiece with a goal from American Hockey League MVP Darren Haydar, his fourth in as many games.  With the Wolves working on the power play, defenseman Andy Delmore cranked a shot from the point and Rinne gave up the rebound.  As several players hacked at the puck in front of the net, Haydar skated in behind the scrum and placed a shot through the crowd and past Rinne at 5:37 of the third period.
