Nashville, Tenn. (November 20, 2006) – Nashville Predators Executive Vice President/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has recalled defenseman Kevin Klein from the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League.
Klein, 21 (12/13/84), has two goals and 21 penalty minutes in 12 games with Milwaukee this season. The 6-1, 195-pound defenseman had one assist in four preseason games with Nashville this season and appeared in two contests with the Predators in 2005-06. The Kitchener, Ont. native led Admirals’ defensemen in scoring (10g-33a-43pt) and ranked 13th among AHL backliners in points last season. |

Klein was originally Nashville’s third choice, 37th overall (second round), in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
The Predators placed forward Scottie Upshall on injured reserve today. The club’s current 23-man roster is attached.
Nashville (12-4-2) faces the Columbus Blue Jackets (5-12-1) tonight at 6:00 p.m. CT at Nationwide Arena. The game will be broadcast locally on FSN South and The Zone (WGFX 104.5-FM).
